This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State baseball's Jake McCutcheon. He hit .500 with a 1.071 slugging percentage and .650 OBP in four games, reaching safely a total of 13 times and at least twice in every game. McCutcheon got on base four times Tuesday at Oral Roberts, then had a home run, two RBIs and two runs Friday against ULM. He doubled twice and scored four runs on Saturday, a first for a Bear since May 2022. The junior added another home run and drove in a pair to help MSU secure a series win versus ULM on Sunday.
