Cook erupted for a career-high 31 points and flirted with a school 3-point record to help the Bears to a win over Alabama State this week. He made 9-of-13 shots overall, 6-of-7 from 3-point range and 7-of-7 at the foul line to lead MSU's efforts. He made the first six 3-pointers he attempted in the game, which would have tied a school single-game 3-point accuracy mark, before missing his final attempt of the day. He also snagged four rebounds in the game and became the 66th Missouri State player to score 31 points in a game. In two games for the week, Cook averaged 19.5 points and 4.0 rebounds while firing at a 58.3 percent clip from long range and 57.1 percent effort overall from the field.
