Missouri State University baseball has submitted a bid to host an NCAA Regional at Hammons Field. In the event MSU is selected as a host site, the following frequently-asked-questions guide contains information regarding potential postseason games in Springfield. Official NCAA Regional sites are announced on the evening of May 24.

When will the NCAA Regional host sites be announced?
NCAA regional host sites will be announced the evening of May 24. Missouri State has submitted a bid to host, and if selected as one of the regional host sites, that information will be released through MissouriStateBears.com, MSU Athletics social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) and through traditional media outlets.

When will the entire NCAA Baseball Tournament field be announced?
The NCAA will announce the entire 64-team field during a televised selection show at 11 a.m. (CT) on ESPNU on Monday, May 25.
Information related to which site Missouri State has been selected to and what teams are in its regional will be released through MissouriStateBears.com, MSU Athletics social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) and through traditional media outlets.

Will there be an NCAA Tournament watch party?
Fans are welcome to attend the team's official watch party on Monday, May 25 at Big Whiskey's Downtown (311 Park Central E.). Doors open at 10 a.m., with the NCAA Selection Show starting at 11 a.m. on ESPNU. There will be lunch specials available.

If Missouri State hosts an NCAA Regional, when and where will tickets go on sale?
If Missouri State is selected as an NCAA Regional host site, tickets will be sold on-line ONLY the first day, starting at Noon on Monday, May 25. A special ticket link will be available at MissouriStateBears.com.
Phone and in-person ticket orders will be available for purchase, starting 9 a.m., Tuesday, May 26 at the Hammons Field Box Office (Gate 1).
Starting Tuesday, May 26, Hammons Field Box Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone number is (417) 863-2143. In-person sales will at the Gate 1 location only, until two hours before game time on Friday when Gate 2 sales will begin. Please do not call the Missouri State Athletics Box Office for tickets.

All-Session Reserved (Sections D, E, F, J, K, L): $60
All-Session General Admission (Sections A, B, C, M, N): $50

Missouri State Students & Other College Students: Tickets for Missouri State students and students from other participating universities will be $5 and must be purchased in person with a valid BearPass card or valid college ID.
Youth Tickets: Tickets for children over 3-years-old through high school are $5 per game and available for in-person purchase only. Children 3 and under will be admitted free with an adult ticket holder.

What is the NCAA Baseball Regional format?

NCAA Baseball Regionals follow a 2-2-2-1 double-elimination format.
Two games will be played May 29, 30, and 31. One game will be played on June 1 if necessary.
ESPN and the NCAA will determine the exact start times for each game. If Missouri State is selected as a host site, we have requested that the games be played at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday; and 1 p.m. on Monday

How many games can I watch per day?
The format of the NCAA Regional is two games per day, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a single game Monday, if necessary.
The stadium will be cleared and cleaned after each game of the tournament. All-Tournament Ticket holders will be readmitted for the second game each day -- along with single-game ticket holders for the second game -- once the stadium has been cleared to reopen.

Where do I park?
On game days at Hammons Field, there are a number of city-owned and privately-owned parking lots surrounding the stadium. All of these lots will charge for parking privileges, based on availability, with varying policies and procedures. No MSU regular-season or Springfield Cardinals season parking passes will be honored for the NCAA Regional.
Lot south of Hammons Field: No in/out privileges. $5 per stall.
Hammons Tower Lot: South and west of Hammons Field. Limited availability due to building events. No in/out privileges. $5 per stall.
Jordan Valley Car Park: Two blocks west of Hammons Field. In/out privileges allowed as long as space permits. $5 per stall.
Not tailgating activities are permitted on the lots above. These lots are to be used for parking activities only.

What about media credentials?
Media outlets meeting the NCAA terms and conditions for Championship credentials must submit requests via email to Missouri State Athletics Communications personnel by Tuesday, May 26. Media covering other participating teams in the tournament must submit their credential needs through the SID of the team you are covering by the same deadline.
Regular-season media credentials -- such as Missouri State or Missouri Valley Conference season passes -- and regular-season parking passes will not be honored at the NCAA Regional sites.
NCAA Regional credential pickup and parking pass pickup will be available starting Wednesday, May 27 in the Athletics Communications office in Hammons Student Center, or at the designated credential pickup table at Hammons Field on Thursday, May 28.
