Missouri State

Background: Trotter came to Missouri State after playing three seasons at Minnesota State University-Mankato. She started 63 of 64 matches for the Mavericks recording two goals and an assist. She scored the game-winning goal in the title game of the NSIC Tournament en route to being named the MVP of the tournament. She earned NSIC Defensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 27, 2014. In three seasons she contributed to 39 shutouts by the Mavericks. Trotter was a three-year starter and letterwinner in soccer and basketball for Bellevue East High in Nebraska. She was a key defender for her club team that won the Nebraska state championship five out of the six years she was a member. She served as team captain for her high school basketball and soccer teams along with her club team.

Personal: Trotter is the daughter of Kirk and Patsi Trotter and was born on July 31, 1995. She is a speech-language pathology major at Missouri State.
