At Missouri State: Weimer has the potential to be a top threat offensively. Health will determine if she can again be a dangerous option up top for the Bears.

2013: Weimer appeared in 15 matches while receiving six starts in her fifth season with MSU. She tallied one goal on the year, coming in the MVC Tournament first round match against Evansville. The goal gave the Bears a first half lead. Her 15 shots taken were the fourth-most on the team. She recorded multiple shots in a third of her games played.

2012: Weimer returned to the pitch with a flurry in her fourth season at MSU, leading the team in goals (6), game-winning goals (3) and points (14) en route to an All-MVC second team selection. In the season opener, she scored a goal against UALR (8/17), the fourth-consecutive year with a goal versus the Trojans. Weimer recorded a goal and an assist at Oral Roberts (9/2), her first career match with a goal and an assist. She scored her first game-winning goal of the season in a 1-0 win over North Dakota State (9/16). On September 24 at UMKC, she tallied the equalizing goal, setting up a late Bears[apos] win. Weimer had her second match with both a goal and an assist when she accomplished the feat at UNI (10/6) with the goal being the game-winner. She also scored the game-winner against Creighton (10/14) in another 1-0 MSU victory.

2011: It was deja vu for Weimer in 2011 as she got off to a hot streak to begin the season. She scored the Bears[apos] lone goal in the season opener at UALR (8/19). She followed that up with an assist at UT Martin (8/26) and a goal at Vanderbilt (8/28) in a pair of Bear victories to earn MVC Offensive Player of the Week honors. But her season came crashing down with a season-ending injury in the home opener against Kansas (9/2).

2010: Weimer got off to a fast start in 2010 before suffering a season-ending injury in the fifth match of the year. She registered a point in each of the first three matches of the season, beginning with an assist in the second minute of the first game. She followed that up with goals against UALR (8/27) and the game-winner versus UT Martin (8/29).

2009: Weimer played in every match for MSU, getting the starting nod on 13 occasions. She scored her first career goal, the game winner, against Austin Peay (8/28). Two games later, she notched her second goal at UALR (9/4). Her only assist of the season came on Becky Handley[apos]s goal at Evansville (10/10). She recorded 28 shots, third-most on the team, including 18 shots on goal, second-best on the team. Weimer was named to the All-MVC second team and MVC All-Freshman squad for her stellar play on the pitch.

Background: Weimer was a four-year starter at forward for St. James Academy in Lenexa, Kan., where she amassed 93 goals and 63 assists through her career to become the school[apos]s all-time leader in both categories. St. James won the state championship her final two seasons with a 15-5-1 and 17-3-1 record, respectively, her senior and junior seasons. She scored both goals in the 2-1 championship match victory in 2009. A four-year all-academic honoree, Weimer was also named all-state, all-metro and all-county each of her final three seasons.

Personal: Weimer is the daughter of Darrin and Cindy Weimer and was born November 29, 1990. She is a psychology major.
