Background
Lopez has been a part of three district champion titles and two conference runner-up runs through three seasons at Hastings Senior High School, where she helped the Tigers to a 38-14-0 record as a midfielder. Scored five goals and dished out nine assists in junior season, earning honorable mention laurels. The Hastings, Neb. product made an immediate impact for the Tigers as a rookie, combining for 37 points with a career-high 16 goals and five assists. Her efforts earned her numerous accolades including second-team super state and class-B all-state recognition. Followed it up with another excellent season, picking up a GNAC all-conference nod as a sophomore with 11 goals and nine assists. Lopez tabbed team captain in all three seasons.
