2023-24: Played in 14 games for MSU as a true freshman…Posted 12 points, four rebounds, four steals and five assists on the season… Scored her first-career points with three free throws at Missouri (Dec. 6)…Set season highs in points (5), rebounds (2), steals (3) and minutes (14) at home against Evansville (Jan. 19)… Dished out a season-high three assists at Bradley (Jan. 11)...Made her collegiate debut on the road at Saint Louis (Nov. 15).

Background: A three-year starter out of Kenwood Academy (Ill.), she averaged 12.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists as a senior, helping lead the Broncos to a 30-5 record…Was named first-team all-city, second-team IBCA all-state and AP all-state honorable mention in her senior campaign…Averaged 24 points, five rebounds and two assists per game in her sophomore season…Was named to the Oak Lawn Shootout All-Tournament Team and was a 4A All-State honorable mention after posting 10 points, three rebounds and three assists per game for the Broncos as a freshman…Also played AAU basketball with the Lady Meanstreets based in Chicago.

Personal: Natasha Barnes is the daughter of TaRon Barnes and Lekesha Triplett, and the stepdaughter of Lester Triplett…Born January 8, 2005 in Chicago, Ill….Has a sister, Makayla…Her mother played college basketball at UIC from 1999-2003 and was a first-team All-Horizon League and Horizon League All-Defensive team selection during her career…Majoring in Exercise and Movement Science.
