In 2025-26, in her first season as an assistant coach, Miller helped guide the Bear’s to remarkable success for both the men and women program. The Missouri State men's swimming and diving team earned their 22nd total conference championship in program history, and sixth total MVC championship, while the women ended in third. Furthermore, freshman Kiefer Roemer received the Missouri Valley Conference Men's Freshman of the Year award after winning gold in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 52.56 that set an MVC record and earned him a ticket to the 2026 DI NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships. Roemer finished 29th at the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 52.15. His time was the fourth fastest freshman mark in the 2026 NCAA preliminaries. The freshman's performance was also a lifetime best time, and the second fastest time in the 100-yard breaststroke in Missouri State history. Roemer now sits at second, third and fourth positions on the Bears all-time leaderboard with his times in the 100 yard-breaststroke over the 2025-26 season (52.15 on March 26, 52.56 on Feb. 27 and 52.80 on Nov. 20). Two new school records were also set at the MVC Championships with the assistance of coach Miller. Freshman Zach Mendez set the Mo State record in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:34.99. Junior Anderson Brown also set the Bear’s record in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:43.80. Miller helped guide nine Bears to the All-MVC First Men's Team, and seven Bears were named members of the All-MVC First Women's Team. In addition, 12 members of the Missouri State swimming and diving teams received 2026 MVC Scholar-Athlete honors. Missouri State Swimming and Diving men's and women's teams were also selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2025 semester.Â
Miller swam for Missouri State for five seasons (2017-2022). As a freshman in the 2017-18 season, she earned an astounding six gold medals at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships, including individual wins in the 50- and 100-yard freestyles. In her last three seasons with the Bears, Miller earned 19 conference gold medals. She won the 50 free, 100 free and 100 butterfly in all three of those years. Miller reached a total of 30 career conference medals, 27 of which were gold. Missouri State won the MVC Championship in each of her five years on the team.
Miller made the All-MVC first team in all five of her years at Missouri State, including being named the MVC Swimmer of the Year in 2021. She was also a six-time MVC Swimmer of the Week, half of which she earned in her final season.
