Played in and started 48 games as a true freshman, primarily at first base…Second-leading hitter on the team with a .278 average…Recorded 42 hits, 22 RBI, seven doubles and five home runs on the season…Tallied nine multiple-hit and eight multiple-RBI games, both of which were second on the team…Secured her first collegiate hit in the season opener versus Ole Miss at the Paradise Classic (Feb. 7)...Had a hit in every game of the Woo Pig Classic (Feb. 28-March 2), including one RBI and a double…Went 2-for-3 and hit her first career home run, a solo shot, at Central Arkansas (March 3)…Drove in two runs and hit a solo homer in the series finale at Texas State (March 8)…Was 3-for-9 with three RBI and two runs scored in the series against UIC (March 13-15)…In a doubleheader at Evansville, she went 4-for-6 with two runs, a RBI and a double (March 22)…Had a hit in all three games at Northern Iowa, going 4-for-9 with a homer on the weekend (April 4-6)…Back-to-back two-RBI games at Indiana State (April 12-13)…Racked up five hits and four RBI in the series at Drake (May 3-4)…Matched her career high with three hits in the opening round of the MVC Tournament against UIC (May 7)…Batted .500 (4-for-8) with three extra-base hits and two RBI in two games at the MVC Tournament (May 7-8)… Earned NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors…Named to the MSU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.

Riley Kristin Baber was born 2/14/06 in Overland Park, Kan….Daughter of Billy and Sara Baber of Overland Park, Kan….Has two sisters, Presley and Kinley…Father played baseball and football at the University of Virginia, where he was selected in the 1997 MLB draft by the Florida Marlins and in the fifth round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs and played four years professionally across three NFL franchises…Sister, Presley, is currently a member of the swim team at the University of Richmond…Plans to major in Biology.
