All-MVC first team … Started 35 of the 40 games she played in during the 2021 season … Ranked eighth in the league with six doubles against MVC opponents … Smashed her second career grand slam in the game versus Valpo (April 18) and became the sixth MSU player to record multiple grand slams ... Tallied her 120th career hit in the regular-season finale against Evansville (May 7) … Went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored versus Western Illinois (Feb. 26) … Drove in five runs in the Drake series (March 27-28), including back-to-back two-RBI outings to close out the three-game set … Registered another set of consecutive multi-RBI games after she plated two runs apiece in the final two games against Indiana State (May 1-2) … Had an RBI single versus Bradley in the MVC Tournament quarterfinals … Earned the MVC Commissioner’s Excellence Award and named to the MVC Honor Roll … MSU Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semesters.

Also had a hit against Abilene Christian (Feb. 15) earlier on the same day in Denton ... Drove in a run in win over Creighton (Feb. 14) ... Posted an RBI against NC State (Feb. 8) ... Registered 10 putouts and a pair of assists in 1-0 loss to No. 7 Minnesota on opening day (Feb. 7) … Named to Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for fall 2019 and spring 2020 semesters.

All-MVC first-team catcher ... Posted a team-high 34 RBI and finished third in the MVC in that category ... Led Valley and was fifth nationally with 6 sac flies ... Allowed second-fewest stolen bases in MVC (28) among regular catchers, throwing out 7 would-be base stealers on the year ... Had 8 multiple-hit games and 10 multiple-RBI games ... Named to All-Tournament Team at Louisiana Tech Invitational (Feb. 23-24) ... Drove in 3 runs with a homer in win over Abilene Christian (March 3) ... Went 3-for-4 with a triple and 2 RBI vs. Illinois State (March 16) ... Hit a walk-off solo homer in 9th inning against Illinois State (March 17) ... Started 39 times in 44 appearances as a sophomore ... Batted .255 with 18 RBI and three home runs ... Led club with 18 walks and was third on the team with 100 putouts ... Allowed just nine stolen bases on the season and threw out 35.7 percent of base stealers ... Posted a perfect 1.000 fielding average in conference play and allowed the fewest stolen bases of all regular MVC catchers ... Went 3-for-4 with three RBI vs. Alabama State (3/11/17) ... First career hit was a double in a win over Mercer (Feb. 27) -- she scored a run and drew two walks in that game as well ... Picked up a single the next day against Dayton (Feb. 28) ... Belted her first career home run in a 3-for-4 game against SEMO (March 5), driving in a season-high three runs in the win ... Singled in a pinch-hitting role against Illinois State (March 19) in her first appearance in a conference game ... Drove in a run in game two of doubleheader versus Illinois State (March 19) ... Singled and reached base twice in each of the first two games of the Bradley series (March 25-26) ... Singled in back-to-back road games at Arkansas (March 29) and at Loyola (April 3) ... Drew a pair of walks in game two at Loyola (April 3) ... Went 2-for-2 against Central Arkansas (April 6) to begin a three-game hitting streak ... Started each of her final three seasons for head coach Roger Lower at Blue Springs (Mo.) High ... Led the Wildcats to back-to-back Suburban Big Six regular season titles as a junior and senior ... As a senior, she hit .442 for the district champion Wildcats squad ... Earned all-state, all-district, all-region and all-conference honors as a starting catcher, helping the Wildcats to an undefeated run in conference play ... Blue Springs won the Kewpie and Blue Springs High tournaments and Frost was the Most Inspirational and Best Defensive Player Award recipient, respectively ... As a junior, she was an all-region and all-district selection after hitting .435 on the year ... Her sophomore season, she earned all-state academic honors for the first of three consecutive years ... Also competed in track for two years at Blue Springs.

Darian Brooke Frost was born 7/29/97, in Kansas City, Mo. ... Daughter of Brooke and Damon Frost ... Has three brothers, Damon Jr., Devon and Donovan ... Father, Damon, was a four-year letterman as an inside linebacker for the MSU football team, leading the team in tackles in 1992 ... Her mother, Brooke (Surface) competed in track and cross country at MSU ... Earned undergraduate degree in Administrative Management ... Currently seeking a Master's in Sports Management.
