Tigers, a Class 5A program, were 19-14 Simpson[apos]s senior season ... During his junior year, he averaged 14.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.6 steals ... Finished his career with over 1,000 points ... Was a two-time all-district selection and was ranked No. 37 on the Greater Houston Top 150 Seniors List ...
