Transitioned from a standout international player to a Division I prospect after playing his senior season at Putnam (Conn.) Science Prep Academy in 2019-20 ... Started for coach Tom Espinosa’s Mustangs in his first year in the U.S. for a 36-4 team that finished as the No. 2-ranked prep school in the country ... Season highs were 13 points and 16 rebounds at Putnam ... Previously, he played for the Le Mans U17, U18 and U21 FIBA teams in France ... In his 2018-19 season for Le Mans, he averaged 6.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game playing against much older professional opponents ... Played in 21 games and set a career high with 20 points and 12 rebounds vs. BCM Basket Gravelines ... A month later, he snagged a career-high 14 rebounds in a win over Strasbourg ... Team was 40-24, and he was ranked as one of the top 100 players in France (76) ... Also played for the U21 team in 2017-18 and had a top-100 ranking (75) ... Was part of a 6-1 national U17 team run his freshman year in high school after being on a French U16 squad that was 7-0 and won the European championship the previous year.
