Was a three-year starter for coach Mitch McHenry at Springfield’s Kickapoo High School where he earned all-district and all-conference honors for the Chiefs in 2019-20 … Was part of a 19-7 squad that made a Class 5 state semifinal run his senior year that ended before the state tournament could be completed due to COVID-19 … Averaged 9.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game as a high school senior … Played AAU ball for Yanders Law team that finished first at MAYB Nationals.
