  The Springfield native will provide depth to the offensive backfield this season after an injury-plagued campaign in 2009.

2009: Redshirted his first season at Missouri State with a knee injury.

High School: Proved to be a versatile standout for coach Joel Heman at Glendale High School in Springfield, Mo., as a three-year starter at running back, punter and defensive end ... Missed half of the 2008 season with an ACL injury ... Carried 17 times for 133 yards in a senior season game against Joplin ... In 2007, he was a second-team All-Ozarks Conference punter and running back, while claiming Southwest Missouri Football Coaches Association second-team honors at both positions ... He is also a distinguished discus thrower for the Falcons[apos] track team, lettering four years and serving as a sprinter for three seasons.
