 Arguably the best inside linebacker in the Missouri Valley Football Conference, Wilkinson looks to match his impressive debut performance of a year ago ... He is ranked as the No. 7 inside linebacker in Division I FCS football by Phil Steele's College Football Preview and a preseason All-American by several other publications, including Consensus Draft Services

 2009: Started all 11 games at middle linebacker ... Named MVFC Newcomer of the Year, All-MVFC First Team and MSU's Defensive MVP for the season ... Led squad with 113 total tackles, making him the first MSU player since 2004 to hit the century mark ... Had nine or more stops in eight games and double-figure tackles in six contests ... Earned MSU Media Player of the Week honors three times, for a team-high 11 tackles at Arkansas in his Division-I debut (9/5/09), his 13 tackles against Northern Iowa (9/26/09) and an amazing (career high) 20 tackles, including 10 solos, against Illinois State (10/31/09) ... Earned MSU Defensive Player of the Week distinction three times for games against Arkansas, Illinois State and South Dakota State (10/10/09) ...
