2012: Was on the MSU Offensive Scout Team but did not see action in any games ... Had a 2-yard reception during 2012 spring scrimmage series.

2011: Walked on to the Bears[apos] practice squad during fall workouts.

High School: Was part of three Interscholastic League team championships for Coach Roger Franks at Lincoln Prep High in Kansas City ... Played multiple positions during his senior season (2010) and started at wide receiver, tight end, defensive end, safety and linebacker ... Tigers were 5-5 his senior year after back-to-back 6-4 campaigns ... He was also a four-year letterman in basketball.
