2015: Was the Bears’ starting quarterback the last 9 games of his junior season … Ranked eighth in the Valley and 80th nationally in completion percentage (.531) and was the sixth-best in the league and 93rd nationally in completions per game (9.36) … Threw for season-high 197 yards against Indiana State (10/3/15) at Plaster Stadium with 26 completions in 43 attempts – also season highs … Also threw his first TD pass of the year in the Indiana State game and posted a tackle … Tossed his second TD pass in as many games with a scoring strike at Southern Illinois (10/10/15) … Passed for 162 yards on 16-of-32 attempts at Arkansas State (9/19/15) … Also posted a TD pass at Youngstown State (11/7/15) … Long rush of the season was a 7-yard carry in the Indiana State game, part of his 18-yard rushing day against the Sycamores ... 2012: Redshirted his first year at Missouri State ... Earned MSU Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week laurels for the season opener at Kansas State (9/1/12).

High School: Helped the James Martin High Warriors in Arlington, Texas, to the Texas Division I Class 5A quarterfinals and a 12-2 record as a senior ... Lost to eventual state champion Carroll in the 2011 quarterfinals ... Earned all-district first-team honors in 2011 for coach Bob Wager's squad and was invited to the TCU Elite 11 QB Camp ...
