Tied for the team lead in appearances with 24, becoming the first freshman to lead the team in that category since 2018...Made five starts and pitched 50 innings, striking out 39 and posting a 3-3 record and 6.84 ERA...Had four consecutive scoreless outings from April 7-13...Struck out five and allowed two hits in 3.2 innings against Oklahoma State (April 1)...Equaled season high of five Ks against Evansville (April 27)...Pitched 4.1 innings against the Aces that day and 4.0 on April 19 at UIC...Retired all 10 batters he faced at Wichita State (March 8) during a stretch of 13 straight retired from March 4-11...Earned the winning decision against Oklahoma State (April 1), Valparaiso (April 13) and Evansville (April 25).

Background
Played for the Canadian Junior National Team and the same Ontario Blue Jays developmental program as MSU head coach Joey Hawkins...During his final year with the Blue Jays, he went 7-0 with 74 strikeouts and a 1.29 ERA in 49 innings as the 2023-24 team MVP...Was the team’s pitcher of the year the previous season after going 2-0 with a 0.89 ERA and .174 opponent average in 31.1 innings...In Junior National Team competition, posted a 3.18 ERA with 13 strikeouts in 13.1 innings.
