2017: Fromson produced a record-setting junior campaign that saw the Lee's Summit, Mo., native become the 38th All-American in program history and the eighth Bear to be named Missouri Valley Conference Pitcher of the Year ... Broke the Bears' single-season mark for appearances (37), while racking up a team-high eight victories and a Valley-best 2.25 earned run average ... Held the opposition to a .170 batting mark—also a league best ... Named First-Team All-MVC and Third-Team All-America by Collegiate Baseball ... Allowed just two earned runs on 11 hits in 12 appearances covering 26.0 innings during Valley play, striking out 32 while issuing just three walks ...Ranked fourth nationally in both appearances and WHIP (0.86), as well as seventh in hits allowed per nine innings (5.57) ... Kicked off the season with six consecutive scoreless outings (Feb. 17-March 5), including 4.0 innings of one-hit relief at McNeese State (Feb. 19) ... Turned in a pair of 3.2-inning relief outings to earn victories at Belmont (Feb. 24) and vs. Central Arkansas (March 5) ... Struck out seven SEMO (March 15) hitters over 3 1/3 scoreless frames, then logged a season-high 5.0 innings in the Bears' MVC opener with Bradley (March 31) to pick up his third win ... Earned a saved at Saint Louis (April 17) with 2.2 innings of relief in a 15-8 Bears win ... Recorded a win the following night at Missouri with 2.0 scoreless innings to set off a string of five straight victorious decisions to close the season ... Picked up the win over Wichita State (April 22), then struck out two of the four hitters he faced against Mizzou to begin a late-season run in which he registered 13 scoreless appearances in 15 outings (April 25-June 3); allowed just one earned run over 27.1 innings during the same span, good for a 0.33 ERA ... Picked up a win and a save in the Valley Tournament to earn a spot on the All-MVC Championship Team ...Worked a total of 4.1 innings in the Bears' first two games of the NCAA Fayetteville Regional—both MSU victories.

2016: Turned in an impressive debut campaign for the Bears with a 6-2 mound mark to go along with 3.71 earned run average over 24 appearances ... Named Honorable Mention All-MVC ... Made 20 relief outings, logging a 4-0 record and a 3.06 ERA while fanning 54 batters and walking just eight over 50.0 innings ... Was tough on right-handed hitters, holding them to a combined .206 (34-of-165) batting mark for the season ... Struck out 9.47 hitters per 9.0 innings pitched ... Recorded scoreless outings in six of his first seven appearances of the season (Feb. 20-March 19); worked 3.0 innings of hitless relief in his first outing Feb. 20 at Central Arkansas, then kicked off a string of five straight scoreless efforts March 4 vs. SIU Edwardsville ... Struck out 12 over his streak of five consecutive shutout appearances spanning 9.2 innings ... Struck out a pair of Memphis Tigers (March 13) in an inning of work to earn his first win as a Bear in the 7-4 MSU victory ... Fanned five Iowa hitters over 3.2 scoreless frames to notch another victory March 19, then locked up his third win in four outings March 22 vs. Arkansas State ... Began a seven-game scoreless stretch at Kansas (March 29); fanned 19 batters while allowing just eight hits and one walk over 16.2 innings during the streak ... Recorded his first save as a Bear April 16 at Wichita State with 3.2 scoreless innings ... Struck out eight Evansville hitters over 5.0 innings April 24 ... Picked up a key road MVC win over eventual league champ DBU (May 15), working a career-best 7.0 innings over which he allowed just one run on five hits while matching his career high with eight strikeouts ... Also beat Illinois State (May 21) with six K’s over 5.2 strong innings in the Bears’ regular-season finale ... Made two appearances in the MVC Tournament, including a scoreless 1 1/3 in the title game vs. DBU ... Finished the year with a notable streak of eight straight appearances in which he hit at least one hitter (April 24-May 28), racking up 10 of his 13 HBP’s on the year over the same stretch ... Compiled a 2-3 record over his six starts for the Rally Factory Rock Hounds over the summer.

2015: Sat out the season as a redshirt due to NCAA transfer guidelines.

Background: Joined the Bears after spending his freshman year at Kansas State ... Went 2-1 with 3.47 earned run average in 23 appearances as a freshman for the Wildcats, then compiled a 4-3 mound mark with a 3.21 ERA in 53.2 innings for the Hays Larks in the summer of 2014 ... Named the “Leading Pitcher” at the NBC World Series after tossing 12.0 innings for the Larks without allowing an earned run in Wichita ...
