2015: Becker helped the Bears to a pair of NCAA Regional berths, including MSU’s 2015 squad that swept the Springfield Regional field to advance to the program’s second Super Regional with a school-record 49-win season...Earned honorable mention All-Missouri Valley Conference and MVC Championship all-tournament honors while helping guide MSU to a sweep of the Valley’s regular-season and tourney titles...Helped MSU earn its first national seed (No. 8) in NCAA Championship, as well as the program’s highest-ever national ranking (No. 6 in

2014: Served as a stabilizing force for the Bears as a junior, starting all 57 games at third base, reaching base safely in 49 and logging 17 multi-hit efforts…Batted .266 with 59 total hits, 26 runs scored, 12 doubles, two triples, a pair of home runs, 14 steals and 30 RBIs—all of which represented career bests…Ended the season on a career-long seven-game hit streak (May 16-23), hitting .444 with five RBIs at the MVC Championship…Tied for seventh in the MVC with 14 stolen bases, while his two triples were 10th-best in the league…Clubbed a two-run home on opening day to help the Bears knock off UCA (Feb. 14) and had three hits the following day as part of a 6-4 victory…Scored four times in back-to-back wins over Northern Illinois at the Lobo Invite (Feb. 21-22), going 3-for-8 with two walks and two RBIs…Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two more driven in at Abilene Christian (Feb. 28), then had two more hits, including an inside-the-park home run, a week later in a 12-2 win over the same ACU club at the UTA Hilton Invitational…Earned Coors MSU Player of the Week honors (March 10) after going 5-for-12 (.417) in Arlington…Matched a career high with three hits at SEMO (March 11), doubling twice and tripling to plate two runs in the 6-5 defeat…Logged two-hit games in wins over Southern Illinois (March 28), Bradley (April 11) and Kansas (April 23); went 5-for-13 (.385) with three RBIs in MSU’s MVC series win at Bradley and singled home a run as part of the Bears’ three-run ninth at KU…Matched career bests with two steals and two walks at UALR (April 30)…Logged back-to-back 2-for-4 nights against Dallas Baptist (May 4) and Oral Roberts (May 6), recording his 100th career hit in MSU’s 10-5 win over DBU…Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a steal in the Bears’ 9-1 win over host Indiana State in an elimination game at the MVC Championship (May 21), then had two hits and a walk in four plate appearances vs. Bradley the following day in a 7-2 victory…Named a First-Team MVC Scholar-Athlete and picked up MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award and Honor Roll recognition for his work in the classroom.
2013: Split time between the Bears’ outfield and second base as a sophomore, posting career-best totals for hits (30), walks (21) and RBIs (19)…Started the season as MSU’s regular second baseman, driving in the game-winning run in the top of the 11th inning of the Bears’ season-opening victory over host Texas State at the Bobcat Invitational (Feb. 15)…Posted a pair of two-hit games against Northwestern State (March 1-3) to help the Bears earn a non-conference series win; went 2-for-3 with a pair of walks, a stolen base and three runs scored in a 14-3 victory to open the series, then recorded two more hits in the finale, driving in one run and scoring another in the 5-0 Bears’ win…Delivered two hits at New Mexico (March 19), an eventual NCAA qualifier, and drove in two runs in the Bears’ 14-6 win at Southern Illinois (April 13)…Came off the Bears’ bench to match a career high with three hits, including his first career grand slam, in MSU’s 12-2 over Bradley (April 20)…Received second straight MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award, as well as Honorable Mention MVC Scholar-Athlete recognition...Hit .280 with eight homers, 44 RBIs and 22 steals for Thunder Bay (Northwoods League) over the summer. 2012: Turned in a solid rookie campaign as a Bear, hitting .245 with a pair of homers and 16 RBIs in 51 games, including 27 starting assignments...Logged a team-high 26 starts in left field...Batted .300 (12-for-40) on the road...Recorded first career hit vs. Houston Baptist (Feb. 26), going 2-for-4 with a walk and a run scored...Went 3-for-4 with a pair of walks and two runs scored and reached base in five of six trips to the plate, March 4-6...Posted his first three-hit game as a Bear March 9, vs. SIU Edwardsville...Registered his fourth multi-hit game March 13, vs. Purdue with a 2-for-4 night against the 28th-ranked Boilermakers...Drove in his first runs as a Bears March 20 at SEMO, plating a pair with a seventh-inning single in MSU’s 8-1 victory...Went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and a career-high three RBIs in the Bears’ 14-4 win over Illinois State (April 13)...Homered for the first time as a Bear and scored twice April 21 in MSU’s 7-2 win at Wichita State...Posted a pair of hits and scored a run May 9 at Missouri...Went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI in two games at the NCAA Regional in Coral Gables, Fla. (June 1-3)...Batted .277 with 13 RBIs and eight steals in 31 games over the summer with the Palm Springs Power of the Southern California Collegiate Baseball League.
Background: Becker was a four-year starting shortstop at Shawnee Mission East High in the Kansas City area...Earned first-team all-state recognition as a senior after batting .612 with 18 extra-base hits, 22 RBIs, 26 runs scored and nine steals in 25 games...Also named the Sunflower League Player of the Year, first-team all-conference, first-team all-metro by the Kansas City Star, and selected to play in the KCK All-Star Game...Picked up Shawnee Mission East team and defensive MVP awards all four seasons...Named all-conference following his junior and sophomore years...Batted .375 in the Ban Johnson League in the summer of 2011, driving in 17 runs and scoring 19 en route to being selected to play in the league’s all-star game at Kauffman Stadium.
