2015: Archer made three mound appearances for MSU’s MVC and NCAA Regional championship squad as a freshman...Logged a 4.91 earned run average in 3.2 total innings of work...Combined with Andy Cheray and Jordan Knutson on a two-hit shutout of Washington State (Feb. 15), working a scoreless ninth inning in the 12-0 win...Made first collegiate start March 17 in the Bears’ home opener vs. Little Rock, a 10-3 MSU victory...Worked a scoreless  inning-and-a-third at Arkansas in the Fayetteville Super Regional opener...Pitched for the Holly Springs Salamanders of the Coastal Plain League over the summer, going 1-1 over nine outings.

High School, where he went 7-3 with a 1.06 earned run average and 70 strikeouts over 60 innings of work as a senior...Earned Perfect Game USA All-America honors as a junior after posting a 2.71 earned run average in leading the Yellowjackets to a district championship...The right-hander earned all-district recognition as both a pitcher and infielder, holding the opposition to a .116 batting mark while logging 64 strikeouts over 34 innings on the mound...The No. 7 prospect in Missouri according to Perfect Game, as well as the No. 3 right-handed pitcher in the state's class of 2014...Played summer ball for the Midwest Nationals, fanning 83 hitters to go along with a 2.43 ERA in 53 innings in 2013, before going 9-4 in 13 outings.
