Schell is the latest addition to the Bears from their Canadian recruiting pipeline...Played in the same Mississauga Tigers High Performance Program as current Bear Taeg Gollert and played alongside current MSU sophomore Michael Yusypchuk with the Canadian National Team...With the national team, Schell competed in a variety of international settings, playing against MLB Dominican Academy teams, MLB clubs in extended spring training games, and in world tournaments...With the Tigers HPP, went 14-1 and won the league in 2025.
