Made 15 relief appearances as a freshman, throwing 15.1 innings and striking out 14 batters with an 8.22 ERA...Did not allow a run in nine outings...Struck out a season-high three batters in 1.1 innings at CWS qualifier Ole Miss (Feb. 20)...Threw 1.1 hitless innings versus Memphis (March 6) and a hitless inning at Liberty (March 14)...Pitched three consecutive scoreless outings without issuing a walk from April 10-17...Earned first career victory with a scoreless inning against Dallas Baptist in the CUSA Tournament (May 22)...Appeared in four games as a pinch-hitter or defensive replacement, drawing two walks and collecting one RBI.

Another addition to the Bears from their Canadian recruiting pipeline...Played in the same Mississauga Tigers High Performance Program as former Bear Taeg Gollert and played alongside current Bear Michael Yusypchuk with the Canadian National Team...With the national team, Schell competed in a variety of international settings, playing against MLB Dominican Academy teams, MLB clubs in extended spring training games, and in world tournaments...With the Tigers HPP, went 14-1 and won the league in 2025.
