Made 9 appearances in the circle as a senior with 6 starts ... Her 14 assists from the pitcher's position ranked 4th on the team ... Ranked 5th in MVC and 150th nationally in fewest walks per 7 innings (1.75) ... also tied for 7th in the Valley in fewest walks allowed (7) and tied for 3rd in fewest homer runs allowed (1) ... Did not allow an earned run in 1.2 innings of relief vs. Murray State (March 7) ... Won back-to-back starts against UT Martin (Feb. 15) and Jackson State (Feb. 28), both complete games, with no earned runs and a combined 10 strikeouts in those outings ... Ranked 4th in the league in fewest walks allowed (20) and shared MVC with fewest home runs allowed (2) ... Ranked 27th nationally in fewest hit batters (3) and 49th in saves (3) ... Was an MVC Scholar-Athlete first-team selection and NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete honoree ... Named MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week on April 11 ... Struck out 6 Bradley hitters in 3-0 complete-game shutout (April 14) ... Struck out 2 UNI hitters (March 28) in 2.0-inning relief appearance to earn a save ... Picked up sixth win of the year and allowed just 4 hits in 9-inning effort at Evansville (April 6) ... Also had a save in the Evansville series ... Compiled a 5-1 record in non-conference play ... Earned Valley Pitcher of the Week honors on March 19 following a win over Tulsa (March 13) and save against Illinois State (March 16) ... 2017 (Freshman)
Made 19 appearances in the circle as a freshman, going 1-2 with a 3.89 ERA ... Struck out 11 in 36.0 innings of work ... Made 11 relief appearances in Valley games, which ranked 3rd in the league, while ranking second in MVC games finished (10) ... Helped Bears beat Incarnate Word (Feb. 10) in her debut, going 6.0 innings and 80 pitches with 3 strikeouts in her first victory, a 9-1 win ... Earned MVC Newcomer of the Week distinction on Feb. 20 after pitching 6.0 inning in relief against No. 17/19 Texas A&M in two appearances (Feb. 17-18) ... Did not allow an earned run vs. Texas A&M and got Bears out of a no-out jam  ... Also pitched a third of inning in the tourney finale against New Mexico (Feb. 19) that clinched second place for the Bears ... Finished A&M Tournament with 2.21 ERA in three appearances and one start ... Stole a base in win over Tennessee State (March 10) ... Tallied 9 assists on the season ... NFCA All-American Scholar-Athlete honoree and earned MVC Honor Roll laurels ... MSU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll Spring and Fall 2017.
  Griesbauer played all four years at Blue Springs (Mo.) South High for head coach Kristi Williams ... Was a three-time all-district and all-state academic selection for the Jaguars ... Her senior campaign, Griesbauer went 14-8 in the circle with 89 strikeouts en route to an all-region honor ... At the plate, she hit .385 with 13 RBI while leading Blue Springs South to the Hickman Kewpie Classic title ... Went 13-8 in the circle as a junior racking up 139 strikeouts in 177.2 innings pitched ... She also hit .417 with a home run and 11 RBI while earning all-conference, all-region and all-area accolades in the fall of 2014 ... During her sophomore season, Griesbauer helped her team to a 15-12 record ... As a freshman, she led the Jaguars to a district and sectional title ... Also competed in track her first two years at Blue Springs South.
  Erin Marie Griesbauer was born 8/23/97, in Manhattan, Kan. ... Daughter of Cindy and Michael Griesbauer ... Has two sisters, Shelby and Mikayla ... Her father, Michael, played football at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo. ... Majoring in Exercise and Movement Science.
