SPRINGFIELD – The National Route 66 Centennial Kickoff Celebration in Springfield this weekend will affect traffic flow and parking for Missouri State's home baseball game on May 1 at 6:30 p.m. against Jacksonville State at Route 66 Stadium.
Â
St. Louis Street between Glenstone and Campbell will be closed as the parade route that evening, meaning fans will need to access the stadium from the north via Chestnut Expressway and allow more time to get to the game. Closures of north/south streets crossing St. Louis will be rolling based on timing of the parade.
Â
The parking lot south of the stadium across Trafficway will be available as in regular games, and Harry Cooper Supply (605 N Sherman) has made the lots south of its showroom and south of the main building available for parking.
