Missouri State quarterback Jacob Clark announced late Saturday (April 25) that he will sign an NFL Undrafted Free Agent deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Clark, a native of Rockwall, Texas, played 28 games over four seasons at Missouri State and broke Bears career marks for touchdown passes (64), completion percentage (.673), 200-yard passing games (23) and pass efficiency (164.34) while ranking No. 2 all-time in program history in pass completions (584), passing yards (7,936) and total offense (7,912). 

"My family and I are extremely excited for this next step in my journey," said Clark. "The work is just getting started, but I'm ecstatic to learn and compete with the Raiders organization."

Missouri State's latest pro football signee started 12 games in 2025 and earned All-Conference USA honorable mention accolades after completing 247-of-376 passes for 3,244 yards and 28 touchdowns with just 11 interceptions (754 snaps). Clark also averaged 270.3 passing yards per game with a 156.89 pass efficiency and accounted for 31 touchdowns in all. He led Conference USA in pass efficiency and was second in CUSA in passing yards per game and total offense per game (209.00). After leading the Bears to three fourth-quarter scoring drives in a narrow Xbox Bowl loss vs. Arkansas State (12/18/25), Clark earned Offensive MVP honors for the inaugural American Bowl collegiate all-star game (1/22/26) after engineering the game-winning driving in the game's final minute. We was named CUSA Offensive Player of the Week on 10/27/25 and 11/17/25 for his role in Bears wins over FIU and UTEP, respectively. 

Also in his senior season, he was awarded an "ESPN Game Day Recap" Helmet Sticker after MSU's road win at Marshall -- the Bears' first-ever victory as an FBS program -- and twice was named as the Manning Award National QB of the Week after wins at Marshall and vs. UTEP. Likewise, Clark was honored with the Frisco Bowl National Offensive Player of Week after the UTEP game and was a five-time Earl Campbell Trophy Tyler Rose Award Player of the Week honorable mention selection.

Among all FBS signal callers this season, Clark ranked 12th in passing TDs (28), 14th in pass efficiency (156.90), 15th in passing yards per game (270.3), 17th in passing yards per attempt (8.6), 22nd in passing yardage (3,244), 31st in attempts per game (31.3), 34th in total offense per game (269.0), 37th in completions (247) and 39th in completion percentage (65.7).   

His efforts in MSU's first FBS season snapped club season records for passing touchdowns and 200-yard passing games while ranking second on the team's season list for completions (247), and third in completion percentage (.657), passing yardage (3,244) and total offense (3,228).

The Raiders concluded the 2026 Draft in Pittsburgh late Saturday afternoon with 10 draftees, including the No. 1 overall pick in QB Fernando Mendoza from Indiana and Arkansas running back Mike Washington Jr. in the fourth round. NFL teams generally announce their entire undrafted free agent classes in the week after the draft.

Senior CB Jordan Dunbar announced he has singed an undrafted free agent contract with the Buffalo Bills. In his only season at Missouri State, Dunbar played in all 13 games (all starts) in 2025, collecting 21 total tackles with 11 pass breakups and a pair of interceptions.

Senior RB Shomari Lawrence whose lone season at Missouri State saw him earn All-Conference USA second-team distinction, has received a summer rookie camp invitation from the Las Vegas Raiders. The native of Pompano Beach, Fla. started in 12 of 13 appearances in his only season in Springfield (554 snaps) and carried 199 times for 1,021 yards and 7 touchdowns while also snagging 19 passes for 118 yards. He collected 100 or more rushing yards on three occasions this season and became the 11th Missouri State player to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards in a season and the Bears' first 1,000-yard rusher since 2010.  

Lawrence ranked fourth in Conference USA in rushing yards per game (78.54) and sixth in all-purpose yards per game (87.62), which ranked 47th and 96th, respectively, among all FBS players. Lawrence also ranked 37th nationally in rushing attempts (199) and carries per game (15.31). Likewise, his 10 rushes of 20+ yards ranked 29th among all FBS running backs in 2025.

His best effort of the campaign came at Kennesaw State (11/22/25) with 20 totes for career-high 173 yards and a touchdown to go with 183 all-purpose yards, also a career high. Likewise, his 70-yard TD run at Kennesaw was a career-long and tied the game, 34-34, with 5:08 remaining against the eventual CUSA champions. He had a season-high 25 carries for 109 yards and a score in home win over UTEP (11/25/25). He also logged 104 rushing yards on 14 carries in home win over FIU (10/29/25) with 2 touchdowns against his former team in his first career multiple-touchdown effort.
