Final Scores
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Missouri State's Marlee Edgeman captured the individual title Tuesday (Mar. 10) at the Evangel Spring Golf Invitational, edging out teammate Rylie Andrews on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff. A sophomore from nearby Marshfield, Mo., Edgeman entered the final round with the lead after opening with a 75 the previous day, but backpedaled in the final round, slipping to a 79 at the same time Andrews mounted a rally with a tournament-best 73. The two tied at 154 through regulation before Edgeman claimed the win in the playoff at Rivercut Golf Course.
Teammate Siena Minor tied for third after shooting 78-82--160. They were the only three Bears playing in the tournament, so Missouri State had no team score. The Bears' full squad is back in action next Monday and Tuesday (Mar. 16-17) at the Magnolia Collegiate in Mobile, Ala.
