SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State Athletics will be participating in the university's 36-hour online Giving Day event, beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24.
This year's theme, Celebrate MO State, is an invitation to honor what people love most about our university. It is a chance to celebrate student success, academic excellence, campus pride and the shared belief that generosity changes lives. Giving Day will include challenges and matching gifts throughout the day, and all gifts will make a collective impact on all Missouri State teams and programs. Fans may donate to the general athletics fund or to any team.
Â
Funds raised throughout Giving Day go directly to the special projects fund for each program. No matter the amount, every gift allows alumni and friends to unite to make a collective difference for Missouri State University. Fans and alumni can also help this effort by sharing and liking the social media posts related to Giving Day, using the hashtag #BearsGive.
The campaign ends at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25.Â
Anyone can make an early gift or contribute a match or challenge starting now. Reach out to Paige Grisham at paigegrisham@missouristate.edu for visit Missouri State's Giving Day Home Page.
