BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Missouri State's women's golf squad tied for 10th place Tuesday in the final round of the 2025 "Mo" Morial Invitational at the par-72 Traditions Club here.
The Bears finished the 54-hole event with rounds of 319-323-319--961.
Kiser Pannier (75-77-80--232) was Missouri State's top individual finisher, tying for 17th in the field of 84 individuals with a 16-over-par finish. Teammate Jiayi Zhang (82-77-77--236) shared 30th place as the Bears' next-best finisher.
Host and No. 20-ranked Texas A&M (297-302-281--880) took top honors in the 16-team event, beating the rest of the field by a tournament-record 38 strokes. Northern Colorado (311-307-300--918) was team runner-up with Abilene Christian (306-308-309--323) taking third. Ten of the 16 competing teams were Texas-based institutions.
Texas A&M's Ceyetana Fernández García-Poggio (74-70-70--214) collected her second collegiate victory with a two-under 214. She was followed by teammate Vanessa Borovilos who finished three strokes back to earn runner-up distinction.
The Bears will now begin preparing for their final run at the Missouri Valley Conference championship when they travel to Waterloo, Ill., April 13-15, in the team's regular-season finale.
