BALTIMORE – Missouri State acrobatics and tumbling ended its inaugural season with a program high score and a 238.440-208.540 loss to Morgan State here on Thursday in the Battle of the MSU Bears.
 
In the last meet of the inaugural season, MoState finished with its highest score of the year and the highest heat score of the year. In the third pyramid heat, Isabelle Bezerra, Issy Lombardo, EllaRose Gosier, Zakiya Calip and Rebekah McNeely score a 9.75 out of 10 with the open pyramid.
 
The Bears won the pyramid event with a total score 25.10 to Morgan State's 24.40. They also recorded single heat wins in the first acro heat, the third acro heat, the third pyramid heat and the third toss heat.
 
Missouri State ends it first-ever acrobatics and tumbling season with an average of 1.1 event wins per meet, three heat wins per meet and an average score of 175.996. The Bears best event was the pyramid with an average of 26.607 points out of 30 possible.
