CHICAGO – Missouri State women's tennis wrapped up a swing through the Great Lakes region with a 7-0 loss to UIC on Sunday.
 
The highlight of MoState's (2-14, 1-1 MVC) day was a win in the No. 2 doubles match. Sandra Lukacova and Raluca Puscas earned their second straight win with a 6-3 victory over UIC's Edit Como and Camille Belberka.
 
Romy Pols pushed her singles match to three sets against Anais Brion from UIC. The freshman won the first set 6-2 but dropped the next two 6-4 and 10-8.
 
MoState will return home to continue Valley play with a late match on Friday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. against Bradley and an early match on Sunday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. Admission if free for all home matches at Cooper Tennis Complex.
