- The Missouri State tennis team is home for the first time this season to face Kansas City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Central Arkansas at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. Live stats will be available.
- The Bears are 5-4 all-time against Kansas City with a 4-0 win over the Roos last season. Central Arkansas leads Missouri State 6-2 all-time. Last season, the Bears defeated UCA. 5-2.
- Friday's match will be extra special for head coach Austin Hale. Hale's father, Kendell Hale, is the head coach of Kansas City. The two Hales have faced off on the court once before when the younger Hale was the head coach at St. Mary (KS). Kansas City prevailed in that match, 7-0.
- Junior Billur Gonlusen went undefeated over the past weekend against McNeese State and Harding. In the No. 4 flight, Gonlusen won her match against McNeese State in three sets with a final score of 1-6, 6-2, 6-1. At Harding, she cleared the match with a score of 6-2, 6-2.
- Gonlusen was also undefeated in doubles alongside her partner Lucy Latham. The duo won their first doubles matches of the spring when they won 6-4 against McNeese State and 7-5 at Harding.
- The Bears play their home matches at Cooper Tennis Complex which features 12 indoor courts and 16 outdoor courts. Free donuts will be given away ahead of Friday's match.
