BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Missouri State women's tennis lost its Sunday afternoon match at Western Kentucky, 7-0, here.
 
The Bears (1-9) only claimed one set during the match in the first flight against WKU's Rachel Hermanova. Sophomore Tuana Gunal won the second set of her singles match 7-5. Gunal forced the match to a third set for the second time this season.
 
Missouri State faced a ranked doubles team at No. 2. Raluca Puscas and Sandra Lukacova dropped to No. 85 Sofia Blanco and Hermanova 6-0. In the No. 3 match, Nicole Ross and Romy Pols were down 3-2 when the doubles matches were called.
 
The Bears will continue their preview of Conference USA with a Monday matinee at Middle Tennessee. MoState will take on the Blue Raiders at 2:00 p.m. Live stats and a live stream will be available.
