COLUMBIA, Mo. – Missouri State lost to Missouri in a short sweep, 4-0, here Saturday.
 
The Bears (1-7) put up a fight in doubles and led on all three courts, but the Tigers came from behind to win matches at No. 2 and No. 3 to clinch the early point.
 
At No. 3 singles, Sandra Lukacova won the Bears only set. The senior won the first set 6-3 over Lailaa Bashir from Missouri. In the second set, Lukacova was down 5-4 when the match was called for the Tigers.
 
MSU's Romy Pols was leading in the No. 5 match when the final point was clinched. The freshman was up 2-0 over Missouri's Korina Roso.
 
The Bears' weekend is not over yet. They will make a trip to Edwardsville, Ill. on Sunday to face SIUE at 10:00 a.m.
