First-Round Results
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. -- The Missouri State women's golf team is 12th after Sunday's (Oct. 19) first round of the Diamante Intercollegiate at Diamante Country Club.
Tierney Baumstark and Chloe Bolte shot one-over-par 73's to lead the way for the Bears, who posted a 296 team score. The pair are tied for 37th overall in the tournament. Junior Coyee Zhang carded 74 for MSU, senior Kiser Pannier 76 and sophomore Siena Minor 78.
Boston College claimed the first-round lead by firing 278, with Memphis second at 281, and Lipscomb and Ball State tied for third in the 18-team field with 282.
Second-round play is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday, with the final round on Tuesday.
