Missouri State's women's soccer team will face Indiana State at home on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
Sporting KC/Springfield will be supporting a rally towel giveaway prior to kickoff.
Missouri State began its final run in the Missouri Valley Conference with back-to-back wins and a tie.
The Bears are one of four MVC teams to start MVC play undefeated. Belmont and MoState are both 2-0 in conference play and Indiana State and UIC are both 1-0.
Most recently, the Bears faced Evansville and picked up a 1-1 tie thanks to a goal from Julia Kristensen. Kristensen leads the Bears with four goals this year and she is tied for second in the MVC.
MoState picked up its first win of MVC play with a 3-1 victory over Drake. Lillie Rasmussen and Grace O'Keefe both made their first goals of the 2024 season against Drake. Reilly Heman made her third.
At UNI, MoState only needed one goal to secure the win. Julia Kristensen got her second game-winning goal in the 24th minute of play. She is tied for 57th in the country and tied for first in the MVC in game-winners.
Goalkeeper Camielle Day is getting closer and closer to another record. With the shutout against UNI, Day has 23 clean sheets. She ranks third in school history behind Alexis Stormo (2001-04) with 24 and Jackie Jasper (2005-08) with 27. Day is second in the MVC and tied for 41st in the country in total shutouts.
MoState was picked to finish first in the MVC preseason poll for the second year in a row with seven first place votes and 116 points.
