Missouri State's women's soccer team will close out the non-conference portion of its 2024 schedule with a road match at Oral Roberts on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 6:00 p.m.
The Bears lead the series 12-9-5 all-time. In 2023, the Bears and Golden Eagles met in a match that resulted in a 2-2 draw.
The last time MoState took to the pitch, the Bears lost to Oklahoma 8-0. In the match the Bears' freshmen made a splash with all of the shots on-goal coming from first year players. Maggie O'Keefe fired off two shots at the goal and Jane Hansen took one. It was Hansen's first collegiate shot.
Reilly Heman leads the Bears in shooting. The sophomore has 15 total shots with seven on-goal. Heman is tied for sixth in the conference for total shots.
Grace O'Keefe leads the Bears in shots on-goal with a 11 out of 13 being on-target. O'Keefe is first in the conference for shots on-goal.
Goalkeeper Camielle Day is getting closer and closer to another record. With the shutout in Kansas City, Day has 22 career clean sheets. She ranks third in school history behind Alexis Stormo (2001-04) with 24 and Jackie Jasper (2005-08) with 27. Day is tied for first in the MVC and 30th in the country.
Day is averaging 4.83 saves per game which is fourth in the MVC. With 29 total saves, Day is 63rd in the country and sixth in the conference.
