NASHVILLE – Missouri State women's tennis lost a match, 5-2, to Belmont to end its road stand on Saturday.
 
MoState (10-7, 1-2) scored both of its points in singles.
 
Sandra Lukacova was the first Bear to win a match today. In the No. 6 match against Belmont's Aly Getty, Lukacova took the first set 6-1 then took the second 6-2.
 
Before the Bruins clinched the match, Missouri State was able to put another point on the board with a win at No. 5. Nicole Ross defeated Hana Sokolovic 6-3, 6-2 in her 10^th singles win this spring.
 
While the Bears did drop the doubles point, they did have a win at No. 3. Tuana Gunal and Juliette Robinson secured a win over Sokolovic and Getty after fighting to a 7-5 outcome. It is their 10^th win as a duo. Gunal and Robinson lead the Bears in doubles wins this season.
 
Missouri State will be back at home on April 6 to face Drake at 11:00 a.m. Admission is free at Cooper Tennis Complex.
