Keeping Track of the Bears

The Missouri State track and field team is hitting the road for the Gorilla Classic hosted by Pittsburg State on Feb. 9 and 10.
MoState will send 29 athletes to compete across 11 events in the span of two days.
Approximately, 1,250 athletes will compete in the classic.
This is the Bears third and final trip to Pittsburg State during the indoor season.
The Bears have recorded 17 top-10 finishes at Pitt State this season.
Freshman Olivia Rogers won her first race as a Bear when she ran the 60-meter dash in 7.66 seconds during the Bear's last trip.
The Bears are coming off a trip to Nebraska for the Frank Sevigne Invitational that saw few top-10 finishes and personal records.
Junior Kamdyn Moody had three top-10 finishes on the first day of the Sevigne Invite with an eight-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.25, a sixth-place finish in high jump with an attempt of 1.55 meters and another sixth-place finish in shot put with an attempt of 10.69 meters.
Missouri State is ranked 23^rd in the Midwest by the USTFCCCA.
