- The Missouri State tennis team will face Central Arkansas and Kansas City in back-to-back matches. The Bears will battle the UCA Bears at 11:00 a.m. on Friday then take on the Roos at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Cooper Tennis Complex. Admission is free.
- The Bears have a 1-6 record against Central Arkansas since 1984. Last season when the Bears battled it out, MoState came away with a 4-3 win.
- Missouri State and Kansas City also met last year with the Roos winning 4-2. The Bears have a 5-4 record against Kansas City since 1984.
- Last time out, the Bears recorded their first dual win of the season with a 4-1 victory over Arkansas State.
- Freshman Tuana Gunal recorded her first singles victory in the dual season with her 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 3.
- Gunal also earned her first doubles win as a Bear when her and Juliette Robinson won their match at No. 3 with a 9-7 tiebreaker.
- The Bears have faced four tiebreakers so far this season with two wins. One tiebreaker went unfinished.
- Junior Sandra Lukacova is undefeated in singles so far this spring.
- Seniors Cristina Flaquer and Mary Houston both boast winning dual records at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively.
