Player Summaries:

Michael Callahan • 5-11 • 172 • IF/OF • Wildwood, Mo. • Lafayette High
A speedy outfielder from suburban St. Louis, Callahan set Lafayette High's single season stolen base record with 38 as a junior. He batted .368 with 40 runs scored that same season to earn first-team all-conference and second-team all-state honors for a state runner-up squad. As a sophomore, he batted .311 with 26 stolen bases and 28 runs scored. Played for the junior varsity as a freshman, where he hit .468 for a 19-1 club.

Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Callahan:
"Michael is one of the most exciting players in the state who will bring a high-level combination of speed and some pop in the bat. He has shown the ability to play both middle infield and a lockdown outfield. We look forward to seeing Michael continue to take big steps forward in our development system and making an impact when he arrives on campus."

Jake Collier • 5-11 • 195 • LHP • Pacific, Mo. • Pacific High
A two-way player for Pacific High, Collier is coming off a junior season in which he posted a 1.52 ERA with 90 strikeouts in 46 innings on the mound and batted .354 with 14 RBIs to earn all-conference and all-district honors. He was an all-Four Rivers Conference first-teamer as a sophomore for a conference championship team, going 5-2 with 74 Ks, 25 walks and a 2.00 ERA on the mound and hitting .357 with three homers and 23 RBIs at the plate. Helped Pacific to an 18-3 record as a freshman, garnering team rookie of the year honors by throwing 22 scoreless innings on the mound with a 4-0 record and 38 strikeouts. Also earned academic honors his sophomore and junior years.

Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Collier:
"Jake is a polished left-handed arm and one of the most competitive pitchers in the state. He will join us from a high-level travel program in the Adidas A's from St. Louis and has a chance to help us win ball games from the time he steps on campus with his fastball playing at 87-90 and a sharp slider."

 Tommy Kramkowski • 6-3 • 197 • RHP • Swansea, Ill. • Belleville East High
Kramkowski has served as a pitcher and shortstop for Belleville East High the last two seasons. As a junior, he earned first-team all-conference honors as a utility player and second-team selections as both a pitcher and shortstop. He fanned 50 batters in 40 innings that season while batting .265 at the plate. As a sophomore, Kramkowski threw 14 innings and returned from a midseason injury for the Lancers' state tournament appearance.

Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Kramkowski:
"Tommy is an athletic RHP coming to us from the southern Illinois area where we have had a ton of successful Bears. Tommy will bring us a three-pitch mix that he can command in the zone led by his fastball at 87-90. We look forward to Tommy joining our pitching development system and continuing to take big steps forward."

Adyn Schell • 6-2 • 200 • 3B/RHP • Toronto, Ontario • Martingrove Collegiate Institute
Schell is the latest addition to the Bears from their Canadian recruiting pipeline. He played in the same Mississauga Tigers High Performance Program as current Bears Taeg Gollert and Kaleb Thomas and played alongside current MSU freshman Michael Yusypchuk with the Canadian National Team. With the national team, Schell competed in a variety of international settings, playing against MLB Dominican Academy teams, MLB clubs in extended spring training games, and in world tournaments.

Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Schell:
"Adyn comes to our program as a real two-way threat. He will be an advanced player competitively after having played for the Canadian National Team for two full seasons. Adyn is an advanced left-handed hitter with in-game power and possesses real arm strength at 3B where he can stick long term. On the mound, Adyn is 88-91 and will touch 92 with a hard breaking ball. We are excited to see Adyn impact some wins when he joins our program."

Wyatt Vincent • 5-11 • 180 • OF • Nixa, Mo. • Nixa High
A three-year starter at nearby Nixa High, Vincent is already a three-time all-district and all-conference selection, adding a second-team all-state nod his junior year. He has helped the Eagles to an 87-27 record the last three years and a state semifinal appearance his sophomore campaign. Through three seasons, Vincent has career numbers of 122 hits, 21 doubles, 18 triples, 14 home runs, 85 RBIs, 107 runs scored, 59 walks and 78 stolen bases.

Head Coach Joey Hawkins on Vincent:
"Wyatt is one of the best multi-sport athletes from the area who will bring an exciting tool set to our program. An elite defender in CF paired with high level contact skills at the plate will give him a chance to impact the program right away. We look forward to seeing Wyatt's power develop inside our program."
