On the Pitch
- The first place Missouri State women's soccer team will return home to face Murray State on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 4:00 p.m.
- MoState leads the series 4-3-1 all-time. When these two teams met last year, they both came away empty handed with a 0-0 draw.
- Missouri State moved into first place in the MVC standings after beating Indiana State 2-0 on Sept. 29 and has remained there after defeating Belmont, 2-0. The Bears have 13 points with SIU and Belmont tied for second place with nine points each.
- The Bears are one of three MVC teams to remain undefeated in Valley play. UIC is 2-0-2 and Southern Illinois is 2-0-3.
- The Bears are on a hot streak in conference play. Their most recent loss in the MVC came on 10/23/22 at Illinois State (4-2). That is 15 straight matches without a loss.
- Most recently, the Bears engaged in a battle of Ursine supremacy with Belmont which resulted in a 2-0 win for MoState. Grace O'Keefe and Kaeli Benedict scored their second goals of the year, with an assist from Julia Kristensen on each.
- Goalkeeper Camielle Day is getting closer and closer to another record. With the shutout against Belmont, Day has 25 clean sheets and is second in school history, just behind Jackie Jasper (2005-08) with 27. Day is tied for second in the MVC and 22nd nationally in total shutouts (5).
- The Bears are taking shots and making them count. With 14 goals, 125 shots on-goal and 185 shots attempted, the Bears sit No. 3 in the country in shot accuracy.
