Bears Baseball Finalizes 2025 Schedule

SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State's 2025 baseball schedule is complete and includes 54 regular season games split evenly between home and road contests, with 13 games scheduled against 2024 NCAA Tournament clubs.
 
The Bears of first-year head coach Joey Hawkins have marquee home games with Oklahoma State (April 1), Missouri (April 22) and Arkansas (April 29), with visits to several Power Four opponents, including a series at 2021 national champion Mississippi State (Feb. 21-23) and single games at Arkansas (March 25), Kansas State (April 8) and Missouri (April 15).
 
The Bears host seven weekend series at Hammons Field, taking on Louisiana Monroe (Feb. 28-March 2) and SIUE (March 14-16) in non-conference action, with Missouri Valley Conference series against Bradley (March 21-23), Belmont (March 28-30), Valparaiso (April 11-13), Evansville (April 25-27) and Indiana State (May 9-11). MSU has additional midweek home games versus Saint Louis (March 4), Arkansas State (March 5) and Oral Roberts (March 11).
 
MoState opens the season on an eight-game road trip, starting at Sam Houston (Feb. 14-16) in a series against a team the Bears will join in Conference USA next year. MSU visits Central Arkansas (Feb. 18) and Oral Roberts (Feb. 25) around the series in Starkville before beginning the home schedule on the final day of February.
 
The Bears renew the series with long-time rival Wichita State with a three-game set in Wichita (March 7-9) and have MVC road series at Southern Illinois (April 4-6), UIC (April 18-20), Illinois State (May 2-4) and Murray State (15-17) as they make one last trip through The Valley. MSU also has a midweek game at Arkansas State (March 18).
 
The MVC Tournament is scheduled for May 20-24 in Normal, Ill.
