VALPARAISO, Ind. – The Missouri State women's soccer team closed out its game at Valparaiso with a 0-0 tie on Thursday.
The Bears (7-1-4, 2-0-2 MVC) out shot the Beacons 14 to 9Â overall and 7-3 in shots on-goal.
In her league-best sixth shutout of the season, Camielle Day recorded three saves, bringing her total to 34 so far this season.Â
"Getting a point on the road against a tough team is a positive," head coach Kirk Nelson said. "Our team defending was disciplined tonight and produced a solid shutout. Overall, our energy was very high. We look forward to our next one on Sunday."
The Bears remain on the road for a Sunday match at UIC at noon. Live stats will be available and the match will be streamed on ESPN+.
