The first-place Missouri State women's soccer team continues Missouri Valley Conference play on the road Thursday at Valparaiso at 7:00 p.m.
 
The Bears (7-1-3, 2-0-1 MVC) are coming off a successful home stand that saw them record a pair of wins over Illinois State (4-1) and Belmont (2-0) to land in the first-place spot in the Missouri Valley Conference.
 
The last time Missouri State played Valpo, it resulted in a 1-0 meeting for the Bears on Oct. 2, 2022, at Betty and Bobby Allison South Stadium. MSU leads the series 5-3-1 all-time.

  • The Bears lead the series 5-3-1 all-time with a 1-1-1 record at Valpo.

  • Camielle Day is up to five shutouts and 31 saves this season. Day is 28th in the country in shutouts and first in the MVC.
  • Grace O'Keefe added another two assists to her season stats against Illinois State. She leads the team with four this season, which ties her for first in the MVC.
  • The Bears set a new season-high against Illinois State last week with four goals scored in one game.
