The Missouri State women's soccer team is going back on the road to start conference play at Murray State on Sunday.
The Bears (5-1-2) finished their nonconference run with only one loss in eight games. Seven straight games without a loss is the team's longest streak since 2017 and the best start to a season in program history.
Gracie English leads the Bears in scoring with four goals so far this year. She has also added 18 shots to her season stats. Camielle Day leads the Bears goalkeepers with 22 saves and three shutouts. Katherine Montgomery also recorded a shutout in her season debut against Lindenwood.
The Bears and Racers will kick off at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at Cutchin Field in Murray, Ky. Live stats will be available, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

- The Bears and Racers are tied 3-3-0 in the all-time series.
- The Bears are the only MVC team with three opponents from major conferences – PAC-12 (Oregon), Big 12 (Oklahoma State) and the SEC (Missouri).
- Missouri State is also the only MVC team with a win over a team from a major conference after defeating Oklahoma State 2-1 (Aug. 20).
- This season two Bears scored their first collegiate goals when Reilly Heman and Carly Raunig both put one in the back of the net.
