FENTON, Mo. – The Missouri State women's soccer team closed out its nonconference slate with a 2-0 loss to Missouri here Sunday.
The Bears (5-1-2) were outshot by the Tigers 17 to 10 with the Bears putting half their shots on goal.
Reilly Heman led the Bears in shooting with three shots in her 59 minutes of play.

Camielle Day added another five saves to her season total. Through the seven games the Bears have played so far this season, Missouri State has only allowed a goal in three.
Seven games without a loss was the Bears' longest streak since 2017.
"It was a tough first loss of the season today. I felt we created extremely dangerous chances, but couldn't put them away," head coach
Kirk Nelson said. "Ultimately, I am proud of our team for grinding out numerous results against extremely hard opponents. Thank you to all the Bears fans there today. It was an amazing crowd and we heard you!"
The Bears are back in action next Sunday at 1:00 p.m. when they travel to Murray State to begin play in the Missouri Valley Conference.
