• Since the start of the 2019 season, Missouri State is 39-0-0 (1.000) when it scores two or more goals. The team's most recent two-plus, goal game was on Sunday, Aug. 28, when it scored three against UC Irvine. 

• Missouri State leads the league in shots (49) and shots on goal (23) through three games. The Bears are tied for the third most goals in the conference with four. 

• Harry Townsend has recorded two clean sheets so far this year, against UC Irvine and Air Force. The junior goalkeeper has registered 10 saves through three matches. 

• Nicolo Mulatero has gotten off to a quick start for MSU this season, scoring two of the Bears' four goals in the team's 3-0 win over UC Irvine on Sunday, Aug. 28. The number also is good for the second-most goals in the MVC (.667). 

• Jesus Barea is tied for the most assists in the MVC so far this season, recording two over three games (.667). 

• Since the start of the 2019 season, the Bears have only lost two regular-season matches over 44 games. 

• Michael Peck and Harry Townsend lead the team in minutes two games into the season. The sophomore defender and junior goalkeeper have been on the pitch all 270 minutes so far this year. Jack Denton is third on the team in minutes played, clocking 264. 

Bears from Abroad 

• The men's soccer team features a diverse group of men with players coming from all over the world to play for MSU.  A total of 24 of the 25 players are international, while one hails from California. 

• Over the years, a large number of players have come from thousands of miles to play for Missouri State. Since 2019, at least 75 percent of the Bears' roster have been international players. 

• The largest number of Bears' players are from England, with nine members of the roster coming to Springfield from the United Kingdom.
