Match Results 

MARTIN, Tenn. – The Missouri State women's tennis team dropped its second match of the weekend here Saturday afternoon, falling 4-0 to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. 

Without six available players, the Bears forfeited a match in Flight No. 3 doubles. In the early deficit, MSU's pair of Juliette Robinson and Mara Presot fell 6-1 to Chattanooga's Emma Van Hee and Coco Bosman in the No. 2 position to give the Mocs the early advantage. 

MSU (0-9) was also forced to forfeit its match in the No. 6 position to increase the Mocs lead to 2-0 to start singles play. Playing in the fourth flight for the Bears, Kate Miley fell 6-1, 6-1 to Bosman. In Flight No. 2, Mary Houston suffered a close 6-4, 6-4 defeat at the hands of Caroline Gibbens to clinch the win for Chattanooga (6-5). Playing in the No. 3 Flight for the Bears, Sandra Lukacova lost her first set to Van Hee but ended her second set unfinished tied at five, apiece.  

Missouri State continues its season early next week when the Bears travel to Durant, Okla. to take on Tarleton State University on Tuesday, March 8 at 3 p.m.
