Beach Volleyball Falls to Texas A&M-Kingsville

PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Missouri State Beach Volleyball team fell to Texas A&M-Kingsville (3-2) on Friday evening at the Grand Canyon University Beach Volleyball Stadium.

In the No. 2 position, Grace Cook and Chloe Tome won their 13th consecutive match by defeating Ayanna Jackson and Roxy Morris, 21-11 and 21-19. The duo is now 10-0 on the season and 21-3 in their career.

The No. 5 pair of Parker McAllen and Olivia Rattler also added a victory over Meghan Merlino and Jackie Alanis by the scores of 21-15 and 21-17. The pair is now 7-3 on the season.

The Javelinas' added wins courtesy of sweeps in the No. 1 and 4 spots as Tenley Housler and Macie Satterwhite topped Tylar Garrett and Chloe Filipski (21-11, 21-17), while Madi Wallace and Ryler Anderson dispatched Brooke Plessner and Kaeli Kristenson (21-11, 21-18)

Becca Bach and Grayson Hall went the distance in the No. 3 match before falling to Lexi Ahrens and Adrienne Vanbrunht by the scores of 26-24, 16-21, and 16-14.

The Bears (6-4) conclude play tomorrow with duals against Abilene Christian (9:30 a.m.) and Grand Canyon (11:30 a.m.) in Phoenix.
