DALLAS - Missouri State beach volleyball's
Amanda Cleary and
Raylee Stenzel earned Conference USA postseason honors, the league announced Friday afternoon. Cleary was named to the All-CUSA second team, while Stenzel earned a spot on the CUSA All-Freshman Team.
The recognition comes after Missouri State completed one of the best seasons in program history, finishing 24-6 for the second-most wins in a single season. The Bears also opened the year with a program-best 14-0 start, finished 9-0 at home and earned their first win against FIU at the CUSA Championship.
Cleary capped her Missouri State career with a standout senior season, finishing 24-6 alongside
MacKenzie Steele at Flight 2. The pair closed the year on a 15-match winning streak and extended their program-record mark to 63-23, finishing as the winningest pair in program history.
Stenzel made an immediate impact in her freshman season, finishing 21-9 while helping the Bears remain one of the most consistent lineups in the conference. Her play throughout the year helped Missouri State build one of the strongest seasons in program history.
Missouri State also had four pairs earn 2026 AVCA Top Flight recognition. The award, now in its eighth year, recognizes beach pairs who compete in at least 15 matches together at a specific flight and win at least 75 percent of their matches. This year, 80 pairs from 35 schools across all three NCAA divisions, NAIA and two-year colleges earned Top Flight status.
The Bears' AVCA Top Flight honorees included
Manuela Niemeyer and
Taylor Germann at Flight 4 after finishing 16-3, Cleary and Steele at Flight 2 with a 24-6 record, Ally Larkin and
Rylie Cepicky at Flight 1 at 22-8, and
Logan Kaneshiro and
Jaycee Fixsen at Flight 5 at 22-8.
